Koran Teaches About Spirit Beings as Djinn or Jinn (Genie)

Djinn is a supernatural being with magical powers and the feature prominently in the traditions and folk beliefs of the people who follow the faith of Islam.Normally, as a race of supernatural creatures, they appeas as a wish granting Djinn or Genie in many Arabic folktales such as those in The Book of One Thousand and One Nights.Djinn is the male singular form of the word, and Jinn is the female singular form. Unlike some spirits they do not have prior human incarnations. Djinn or Jinns are believed to have been formed from a smokeless fire by the creator himself thousands of years before the creation of Adam and Eve. It is also said that the Djinn refused to act as companions and servants to Adam, as was intended, so they were barred from the Garden of Eden and condemned to live their life on the dark side though others are hostile, some chose to be friendly to humans.
