Ghosts Are Here Again!

Good day Everyone!

It’s a season again of spooky stories and scary experiences due to this year’s remembrance of our dead relatives and friends.

In Christian belief, we call it All Souls’ Day (November 2), which is normally being observed in the Philippines on the first day of November along with the observance of the All Saints’ Day.

Before the ‘big day’ for all the departed souls, we also observe the Western tradition we call ‘Halloween’ or “All Hallows Eve’, which originated in the ancient Celtic festival known as ‘Samhain’, pronounced as “saw-hin’, derived from the Old Irish ‘Samuin’ meaning “summer’s end”. The Festival of Samhain is a celebration of the end of the harvest seasonin Gaelic culture.

The Halloween, the 31st day of October has long been believed by the ancient Gaels believed “the boundaries between the worlds of the living and the dead overlapped and the deceased would come back to life and cause havoc such as sickness or damaged crops. To ward off these spirits, the Irish built huge, symbolically regenerative bonfires and invoked the help of the gods through animal and perhaps even human sacrifice” (More readings: http://reytsibayan.com/is-halloween-important/).

As of this writing, me and some of my clairvoyant friends have noticed sudden appearances/manifestations of ghosts and non-physical beings, while others can sense the presence of their dead relatives in their houses and departed colleagues in their work places.

It is a sign that the believed ‘overlapping’ of dimensions between the living and dead are now in the process and we expect frequent manifestations of ghosts as we are approaching the October 31, November 1 and November 2 of this year’s remembering the dead celebration.

If you ask me what to do if you see them (ghosts) and suddenly appeared right before your eyes, either you acknowledge them or just ignore them, it’s all up to you. If you acknowledge them then get ready to be annoyed because they got your attention, maybe they need someone who can talk to them and they need help to ascend to high planes of existence. These are conscious ghosts that we can interact or communicate. The other ghost manifestation is called ‘mechanical’, those are shells of energies attached to places of accidents and appear at certain times.

But if you have the ability to see them, I keep reminding you that it is a ‘great responsibility’ because you have the access to see the world beyond the physical reality. It is not a curse as some could normally label it, but rather it is a gift (not special because everyone can activate this) that we can utilize to help the the departed souls to move on to their evolution.

You can read a story of a clairvoyant http://dzrhnews.com.ph/third-eye-confession-clairvoyant/

Prayers, candles, incense and even food can be offered to the souls of the departed. If we think we can help them, then there’s no reason at all to be scared of them. In the end, we will turn into ghostly-form when the time comes for us to evolve to higher dimensions we call Heaven. #

#Throwback: Misteryo sa DZRH Radio Program (Twelve Years Ago)

Twelve years ago, people have heard discussions about Metaphysics over DZRH.

The Original Misteryo was broadcasted via DZRH Radio, DZRH Television and DZRH Live Video/Audio streaming at 4:30-5:30 pm, Saturdays. It was hosted by Rey T. Sibayan,,founder of the defunct Misteryo Philippines Network MPN Group. Misteryo program started it’s radio broadcast on April 22, 2006 until 2011. Most discussed metaphysical topic on Ghosts Hauntings, UFO Sightings, Alien Encounters, Spirituality, Paranormal and Psychic Phenomena events.

It is a reminder to everyone that we always experience the metaphysics in our everyday lives, maybe we cannot normally see these experiences because they exist on alternate realities where psychic senses can only detect them.

Metaphysical experiences are not just ordinary events in our lives because they have something to do with our daily lives like how we deal with our problems, how to learn the lessons of life and eventually could lead all of us to the evolution of our existence on this realm and beyond this life. Just be sensitive and aware of subtle messages thru experiences.

The Buddha’s ‘No Self’ Doctrine

Sharing my thoughts and some facts of the ‘No Self Doctrine’ of Buddhism. You are free to comment or share your insights on this subject. This is my essay submission to the course on Buddhism and Modern Psychology by Professor Robert Wright at Princeton University.

Self, Selfless Or No Self?

It looks like the Buddha’s doctrine of no self is a very controversial subject as it contradicts with the Hindus doctrine on the existence of self. This can be read on the Wikipedia’s explanation of “Anattā and Atman” doctrines: The No Self Doctrine

“Anatta is a central doctrine of Buddhism, and marks one of the major differences between Buddhism and Hinduism. Buddhists do not believe that at the core of all human beings and living creatures, there is any “eternal, essential and absolute something called a soul, self or atman”.[5][6][123] Buddhism, from its earliest days, has denied the existence of the “self, soul” in its core philosophical and ontological texts. In its soteriological themes, Buddhism has defined nirvana as that blissful state when a person, amongst other things, realizes that he or she has “no self, no soul”.

To be honest, I just learned this controversy upon listening and watching the lectures on this course and I want to thank you Professor Robert Wright for sharing your insight and detailed explanation on this subject of the Buddha’s discourse of no self.

As a learner in this course, I am open to the ‘‘no self’ doctrine as I as also agree on the opposite side that there is ‘self’ argument.

In my opinion, both sides of the argument have truths in them because the interpretation of the Buddha’s doctrines depends on the tradition, culture and religious practices of any group – including Buddhist practitioners. In Thailand, Buddhist groups have opposing interpration of Nirvana as true self, while others say Nirvana is the non self. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anatta

“In Thai Theravada Buddhism, for example, states Paul Williams, some modern era Buddhist scholars have claimed that “nirvana is indeed the true Self”, while other Thai Buddhists disagree.[76] The Dhammakaya Movement in Thailand teaches that it is erroneous to subsume nirvana under the rubric of anatta (non-self); instead, nirvana is taught to be the “true self” or dhammakaya.[77] The Dhammakaya Movement teaching that nirvana is atta in 1999, has been criticized as heretical in Buddhism by Ven. Payutto, a well-known scholar monk, who added that ‘Buddha taught nibbana as being non-self”.[78] Luang Por Sermchai of Wat Luang Por Sodh Dhammakayaram argues that it tends to be scholars who hold the view of absolute non-self, rather than Buddhist meditation practitioners. He points to the experiences of prominent forest hermit monks to support the notion of a “true self”.[79] Similar interpretations on the “true self” have been put forth by the then Thai Sangharaja in 1939. According to Williams, the Sangharaja’s interpretation echoes the tathāgatagarbha sutras.[80]

I can compare these opposing interpetrations of Buddha’s discourse of no self with the unending debate of Catholics and Christians in the interpretations of the Holy Bible. This arguments will not end because I always believe interpretations are based on the interest and consciousness of any group. I rather recommend influential teacher Ajahn Chah’s statement that “we shouldn’t try to intellectualize about this no self thing,…quit talking about it and just sit down and do it.”

But I like the American Buddhist monk, Bhikkhu Bodhi’s explanation on Buddha’s teaching of non-self, saying “that the Buddha uses different modes of discourse depending on the context. And so when he is speaking within what I would call a contemplative text, within the context of inside contemplation or within the context of the aspiration for liberation, then he takes us at the primary obstacle to the attainment of liberation, is the grasping or clinging to the mental and physical components of our being as a self…the Buddha teaches not that there is no self, but that all of the objects of clinging are not self”

The way I look at it based on monk Bhikkhu Bodhi’s explanation, the Buddha wants us to be aware of our decisions and actions in our daily lives, that we should observe being no self when dealing with everything in this world, to just let go of any issues we are facing and practice being selfless in order to achieve Nirvana.

Please feel free to share your thoughts about this topic. Thank you. Namaste!

The Subtle Messages of ‘Moon Halo’

Metaphysicists, paranormalists, wiccans and spiritualists including healers use the energy of the Moon according to the intention of their rituals and practices.

The favorite moon phase is FULL MOON, which mostly believe the lunar energies are at full blast during this manifestation. Though other phases like waning and waxing have special purpose.

Moon appearances in the night skies have many interpretations based on the feeling, sense and intuition of the viewer though most of the time we prefer to relate such images in folklore supertitions. Continue reading

Disproving the Existence of the Other Side

Halloween 2013, another season of ghost huntings and paranormal investigations mainly to prove or disprove the existence of the ‘Other Side.’

Every time the mainstream media set an interview with me (as metaphysical counselor) about these stuff on paranormal activities, I always make it a point that “whatever explanations I do, I have no intention to convince people but mainly sharing my thoughts and knowledge about the reality of the meta-physical (beyond physical).”
