I am still collecting more data about UFO sightings in the Philippines, but here are some of the information I gathered from different sources.

UFO team leader Elmer Escosia admitted they have a record of UFO sightings in the Philippines and they opined files to reveal what they discovered so far instead of keeping the information to themselves.

“Our files and records are open to the public and anyone can read or research,’ Escosia said.”The team is composed of eight members under PAGASA’s Astronomy Division, which was assigned to investigate UFO sightings in the country,” he added.

Escosia also said, they were able to explain most of the UFO sightings from all over the country, which were reported to PAGASA. But, he admitted, they were stumped and found no logical explanation for the sightings.”

FIRST RECORDED SIGHTING: Flat-Bottom-Dome-Shape Object
The earliest so far recorded sighting in the Philippines happened sometime in 1954 when a medical doctor who declined to be identified reported his sighting of believed to be spacecraft from outer space.

BOHOL PROVINCE: Falling and Spinning Object
Another recorded early days UFO sighting in the Philippines was in Bohol Island
on May 9, 1958, when a PAL pilot sighted a shiny, with metallic surface falling and spinning flying object.

QUEZON PROVINCE: The Flying Oval Object
In 9:52 in the morning of October 4, 1959, two US navy officers were very surprised when they sighted a UFO. They described the anomalous object as large round or oval object, it’s color was changing from red to red-orange.

ORMOC CITY: Disk-Shaped Craft
Children in Valencia, Ormoc City were reportedly sighted a disk-shaped spacecraft which landed in the area sometime in 1984.

MANILA: Strange Lights Over Metropolis
Personally I have seen many strange lights almost every night during my college days in the late 80s. During that time I have no idea if these nocturnal lights were from UFOs because I thought they were from airplanes flying over Manila but my place then was too far from the airport.

MALABON: Round-Shaped UFO
In 1993, it was the first time my mother Carmen saw a strange ship hovering above our rented apartment in Malabon City. She was amazed by the unknown craft with multi-colored lights under it.

MUNTINLUPA: Odd-Shaped Flying Objects In Muntinlupa
Sometime in 1997, at least 400 people sighted thirteen odd-shaped flying objects in Las Pinas and Muntinlupa.

LAS PINAS CITY: Dancing Lights in the Night Sky
A businessman has gone public with a video, which shows what he claims was an unidentified flying object (UFO) hovering over his neighborhood on Silver Street, Camella Homes 4 in Las Pinas city.

SOUTH COTABATO: Wingless Airbus
A group of workers in a pineapple plantation in Polomolok, South Cotabato sighted a bright gleam and appeared to be a wingless airbus.

PASAY CITY: Nocturnal Light
On January 9, 2004 around 7 pm I was about to leave from the office at MBC building, Star City when I noticed an unusual big light on the western hemisphere. It was a steady yellowish light much bigger than any star or planet in the clear skies.

CALIRAYA: UFOs Seen Around the Sun
It was 4:05 in the afternoon, September 27, 2005, when 6 flying objects gather themselves around the image of the sun, and made their manueverings witnessed by a group of more than 20 people.
