(The Cosmic Pyramid, or the nine-step-god (Bolon Yookte), whose nine waves will simultaneously manifest as the Mayan calendar comes to an end.)
2012 is NOT THE END of the World, and I reiterate my earlier statement in my previous posts that the predicted date of the end of the Mayan calendar will be the end of the Old Consciousness to transform into a new one – a better and Higher Consciousness.
Many experts especially those so called Mayanist scholars have already declared that apocalyptic predictions in 2012 are not true, well in spite of this pronouncements those doomsday fanatics still believe otherwise.
German archeological and Egyptological expert Sven Gronemeyer of Australia’s La Trobe University decoded a Mayan tablet at an archaeological site in Palenque, Mexico saying that his interpretation of certain hieroglyphs indicate that though December 21, 2012 is an important date for the ancient Mayan people, it won’t necessarily be apocalyptic.
There were previous declarations of experts from various disciplines especially professional Mayanist scholars brushing off the idea of such cataclysmic events occurring in 2012 explaining that predictions of impending doom are not found in any of the extant classic Maya accounts.
Gronemeyer’s research shows that December 21, 2012 heralds the arrival of the Mayan god of creation and war, Bolon Yokte, 5,125 years after the Mayan Long Count calendar began back in 3113 B.C.
“The date acquired a symbolic value because it is seen as a reflection of the day of creation,”Gronemeyer said whilst at an archaeological site in Palenque, Mexico. “It is the passage of a god and not necessarily a great leap for humanity.”
The Mayans believe that their god’s reappearance on earth is meant to indicate a new era on the planet, but not a destructive one.
Decoding the stone tablet in question – originally found at Tortuguero in the Mexican province of Tabasco – was especially difficult for Gronemeyer as it’s 1,300 years old – and had a crack right through the middle of it.
I hope this latest declaration of another Mayan archaeology expert could give a clearer understanding to those 2012 Doomsday believers, eventually dismissing such a frightening idea perpetuated by net forums influenced by the disaster movie, 2012.
Of course, we cannot definitely set aside some planetary changes in weather, temperature, climate especially if these are effects of the Polar shifting and maybe by some galactic alignments and other astronomical events that could cause destructive storms, earthquakes and other calamities.
I think it is important now to remind all of us that we should do whatever means to adopt such changes. It is all part of the evolution not only with the planet Earth but to all inhabitants. I propose it is better to visualize our good future beyond 2012 rather than focusing on whatever destructive events.
I also believe that we can counter though not totally stop such events to happen but we can minimize the effects with the Positive Collective Consciousness rather than sowing fear in the mind of people about apocalypse.
